Payment options

  • Voss Parking handles the public parking operations in Voss.
  • We maintain nearly 1300 parking spaces in and around the city center of Voss. 
  • You can pay for parking using our parking meters (coin or credit card) or the EasyPark-app. 
  • Make sure your payment is registered with the correct license plate number. This applies to both parking meters and EasyPark.

Parking duration 

  • Our parking spaces has max parking times of either 3 hours or 1, 7 or 14 days.
  • Most places in the city centre the tax time is 9-17 on weekdays and 9-15 on Saturdays.
  • At the train station there is a charge also on Sundays and public holidays.
  • Parking at the hospital ("Voss sjukehus") is free Saturday and Sunday.

Penalty Charge

A penalty charge (parking ticket) may be issued if parked in violation with parking rules. The reason for the issued charge will be displayed in Norwegian at the top of the yellow form.

The penalty charge must be paid within three weeks from the date it was issued. We accept card payment at our office. Unfortunately we do not accept online payment at this time.

If you are unable to visit our office use the information found on the yellow form under “Betalingsinformasjon” to perform an international wire transfer with your own bank. You need:

  • the owed amount ("beløp"),
  • account number (domestic transfer: 9581 21 10358 / international transfer: IBAN: NO2995812110358 + BIC/SWIFT: VVELNO21XXX)
  • bank name and address:

  • and some form of payment identification ("KID", the six digit case number or the vehicle's licence plate number must be included).

By law both the driver and owner of the penalised vehicle are responsible for the payment of the fine. If the payment is not made in time, or without a valid payment identification, a payment reminder with an added fee will be sent to the vehicle's owner.

If you believe the penalty charge has been issued by error, you may appeal it within three weeks. Use our online form, download our printable form and send it by mail, submit the appeal by e-mail, or visit us at our office.

Vossapark

The Vossapark garage contains parking for 288 cars and is open around the clock. The car park is located in Lekvemoen 5, and is central to the center of Voss.

If you come from the west the entrance is at the gas station Statoil. You can exit at the intersection of  "Lekvemogata/Uttrågata" by "Sparebanken Vest". If you come from east you also enter this way.

There is Direct Access walkthrough "Forretningsbygget" and to the street in Uttrågata 23A . Vossapark is situated nearby Vangen school.

 Charges for "Vossapark" is NOK 15,- pr hour and NOK 40,- pr day/night. Maximum headroom is 2,25 meter.

 You can pay with Eurocard, Master, or Visa. It is a payment automat by the elevator on departure to Uttrågata 23A, and one automat on the 2nd floor, by the entrance to "Voss Videregående skule".

Charging stations for Electric cars

VossaPark has 8 charging stations. 4 is situated by the entrance on the ground floor. The 4 others are situated directly above on the first floor. Charging capacity is 3,6 kw/h, and price is NOK 8,00 pr hour. 

You must use your own charging cable Mode 3Type2 according to new EU standard for car charging. Payment by creditcard. Follow instructions on automate.
